Our Mission

To improve the lives of those who come to us for help by applying our professional clinical skills with dignity and respect.

Jeramiah 29: 11

“For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.”

(A message from the owner)

“I’m Nathan Ingram. My wife, Lindy, & I own Lone Star Behavioral Health. We are a small, licensed, Joint Commission accredited, family-owned inpatient psychiatric hospital in Tomball, Tx.

The thing that makes us special, in my estimation, is the philosophy we bring. Our whole idea behind having a hospital and an outpatient center together is to unite the things we are convinced help make people well. We try to bring the best medical practices, the best therapy and the most tranquil physical environment. However, the component holding it all together is, for lack of a better word, love. We seek to love the people and touch their spirits as well as apply all our professional skills. That, I think, gives people their best opportunity for recovery at our facilities.

What is Lone Star Behavioral Health?

Inpatient Care Center

In order to begin the process of recovery, you need to feel safe; safe from triggers, safe from others and, at times, safe from yourself.

At our small, 22-bed inpatient facility in Cypress, Texas our biggest goal is to help you find stability and utilize resources to prepare for the road to recovery. We do this by paying special attention to our clients. This is done through our incredible team of psychiatrists, therapists, nurses, and psychiatric technicians who are trained to identify needs, establish goals & provide treatment for recovery.

Outpatient Care Center

Our 168-acre outpatient campus in Tomball, Texas reveals a beautiful setting of mixed forest and pasture. We named it the Cadwalder Campus, in honor of Drs. Roger and Kathy Cadwalder who greatly influenced our beginning. You will attend therapy in one of four facilities spread throughout the campus.
